4-Piece eclectic covers band, based in Blackpool, UK.

SofaKings Band Logo White

ah One, Two, ah One-two-three ...

The Band

We aim to play an eclectic mixture of covers and genres with a few familiar favourites and a few surprises thrown in.

The band was originally formed around 2008 under the guise of The Valvetronics, playing a mixture of original material and covers.

After a couple of stylish Rock ‘n’ Roll bust ups and an emigration to Canada (Hi Chris!), the band evolved and morphed into The Mighty Valves then Little Green Wheels, focusing solely on covers.

We settled into our current form, SofaKings, in 2016 and have continued to grow from there.

Our line up includes a healthy mix of experienced musicians with influences from Rock, Blues, Indie, Funk, Jazz and even big band!

We play, simply because this is what we love to do!

Gear

We are pretty self-sufficient in terms of kit. We have everything we need to play most small or medium sized venues.

We run all of our sound through a Line6 Stagescape digital mixer and output to Stagesource speakers and  Bass Cabs.

We have some lighting available but will gladly use any at the venue if available.

The only thing we need from you is a few electrical sockets and maybe a cold beer or two!
